On the afternoon of September 26, 2019, the Fuzhou Water Supply and Drainage Association, the Water Supply and Drainage Branch of the Fujian Provincial Society of Civil Engineering and Architecture, and Beijing Huaxia Yuanjie Water Technology Co., Ltd. jointly hosted a technical exchange conference on new products at the Fujian Provincial Architectural Design Research Institute. The event was attended by renowned domestic experts, including Chief Consultant Engineer Jiang Wenyuan and Chief Engineer Wu Zhicheng, as well as representatives from the Fuzhou Municipal Design Institute, the municipal water company, and various institutions of higher learning.
The Water Supply and Drainage Branch of the Fujian Provincial Urban Construction Association formulates and implements development plans for the water supply and drainage industry to promote its scientific management; conducts research and deliberation on urban construction reform, development theories, and policies; facilitates industry exchanges; and provides technical services and other products to support enterprises.

Jiang Wenyuan’s Presentation: Studying the New Edition of the “Jianshui Code”
Introduction: Currently serves as an Executive Director of the Water Industry Society of the China Civil Engineering Society, Deputy Chairperson of the Standardization Technical Committee for Water Supply and Drainage Products under the Ministry of Construction, and Honorary Member of the National Committee on Building Water Supply and Drainage, among other positions. He is a professor-level senior engineer and an expert in the field of water supply and drainage, having participated in and completed 16 codes and standards, including the Code for Design of Building Water Supply and Drainage; 11 handbooks totaling 18 volumes, such as the Design Handbook for Building Water Supply and Drainage; 9 product standards, including the Terminology for Equipment and Materials in Building Water Supply and Drainage; 18 standard drawing collections, such as Vibration Isolation and Installation of Pumps; 12 technical books, such as Pressure-Driven Water Supply Technology; and more than 100 academic papers, including “The Scope and System of Building Water Supply and Drainage.” 2

With more than 20 years of experience in water purification and treatment, the individual holds over 40 patents and has authored numerous academic papers. Notably, this expert was the first in China to propose an application model that leverages water technology to enable the multi-dimensional, cyclical, and virtually unlimited reuse of water, with extensive engineering case studies demonstrating its comprehensive implementation in last-mile water systems.

Yuan Suqing Presents: An Inside Look at Yuanjie Water Services
Profile: Currently serves as Sales Director at Beijing Huaxia Yuanjie Water Technology Co., Ltd., with full responsibility for the company’s marketing operations. Has successively participated in and led the development of key corporate strategic documents, including the “Huaxia Yuanjie Company 2014–2018 Strategic Plan” and the “Huaxia Yuanjie Company Qinghai Business and Branch Development Plan.” In addition, has established sales teams in Jiangsu, Fujian, Beijing, and Hebei provinces, optimized the allocation of sales resources, actively organized and planned market initiatives, and achieved annual sales targets. In 2018, spearheaded a market analysis effort, aligned sales objectives with Yuanjie’s unique characteristics, identified priority customer segments, and exceeded the company’s sales targets.
Zhao Jianpeng’s Lecture: Industrial Applications of Microbial Engineering Strains in Granular Form
Introduction: A member of the R&D team at Beijing Huaxia Yuanjie Water Technology Co., Ltd., he has successively participated in the commissioning and modification of equipment for producing Yier enzyme microbial engineering strains, as well as in trials involving these engineered strains; he has also been involved in the R&D of disc-type membrane technology and the commissioning of related production equipment.
Through this technical exchange, Yuanjie Water’s new technological products—such as microbial-engineered bacterial granules and disc-type membrane modules—received high praise and broad recognition from the attendees. We are confident that this format of technical exchange will pave the way for even more collaborative opportunities in the future. The joint seminar on new technologies and products hosted by the Fujian Water Association and Yuanjie Water Services was a resounding success. More than 160 leaders from Fuzhou Municipal Design Institute, municipal water utilities, higher education institutions, and other organizations in the water industry attended the event. Chief Engineer Jiang Wenyuan, Chief Engineer Wu Zhicheng of Yuanjie, Yuan Suqing, Yuanjie’s Director of Marketing, and Zhao Jianpeng, Yuanjie’s Technical Manager, shared insights and engaged in discussions on water supply and drainage standards and codes, as well as treated effluent management for municipal water systems, thereby sowing the seeds of friendship that will be nurtured with high-quality water. It is our hope that Yuanjie will continue to forge fruitful collaborations with leaders and colleagues across the water industry!
