Intelligent Automatic Control Filter
The YJDS brush-type self-cleaning filter (also known as the intelligent automatic filter) is suitable for a wide range of water supply systems, particularly those that require continuous operation without downtime. This filter effectively removes various mechanical impurities from the water system, ensuring the safe and reliable operation of system equipment. It automatically monitors the filter’s operating status by measuring the pressure differential between the inlet and outlet, thereby achieving true automatic detection, automatic cleaning, and automatic sludge discharge.
Working Principle
The YJDS-type brush-type self-cleaning filter primarily comprises a housing, a filter cartridge (for trapping contaminants), a cleaning mechanism (including a cleaning brush and a brush-mounted filter screen), a controller (which collects and compares differential pressure signals and outputs control signals), a cleaning motor (which receives control signals and provides the power required by the cleaning mechanism), and an electric ball valve (which receives control signals and discharges the collected contaminants).
The brush-type self-cleaning filter consists of a pig-bristle brush or a stainless-steel wire brush, a stainless-steel filter screen, and drive components. Cleaning and sludge discharge are automatically performed by a drive motor and an electric valve. The filter can operate in automatic mode (with optional manual operation) and features both differential-pressure-based and timed automatic sludge-discharge functions. The automation system is implemented using a PLC programmable controller.
As water flows through the filter, mechanical impurities are intercepted by the filter screen. When the accumulated impurities on the screen surface increase and the differential pressure reaches 0.04 MPa, the differential-pressure switch sends a signal, which in turn triggers the PLC to issue a command. The drive motor then starts, the drain valve opens, and the rotating brushes dislodge the accumulated impurities from the screen, flushing them out through the drain outlet. The entire brushing-and-draining process requires no manual intervention and does not necessitate shutting down the system. In addition, the equipment is equipped with both timed cleaning and manual cleaning functions, ensuring safe and reliable effluent quality under all operating conditions. In this way, the YJDS-type brush-type self-cleaning filter enables the system to maintain effective filtration without interruption, thereby guaranteeing the normal operation of the entire system.
